Financial Analyst - Putney Capital Management

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join Putney Capital Management , an asset management and advisory firm focused on value creation in the agribusiness sector across the Caribbean and northern Latin America.

The Financial Analyst will provide high-level analytical and financial support for the management of the firm’s funds, actively contributing to the development of financial models, investment analyses, strategic presentations, and due diligence processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the creation, development, and analysis of financial models and valuations for assets under management.

• Participate in due diligence processes related to M&A transactions, financing arrangements, and other strategic initiatives.

• Prepare corporate presentations, investment teasers, financial analyses, and business cases to support decision-making.

• Analyze cash flows, financial projections, and the performance of assets under management.

• Prepare and review periodic presentations for the Strategy and Investment Committee.

• Manage financial information and reporting for internal departments and the group’s stakeholders.

• Support the communication, analysis, and review of annual valuations and risk ratings.

• Monitor value-creation initiatives for assets under management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• A master’s degree in Finance and/or CFA designation or candidacy is preferred.

• At least two years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, valuations, and/or credit analysis.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and financial models.

• Knowledge of financial programming tools or languages is preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish.
