Senior Director of Human Resources | BPO Sector

At Allion Consulting, we are conducting the search for a Senior Director of Human Resources for a company within the BPO sector .

This executive will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the Human Resources function, ensuring that talent, organizational culture, career development, employee benefits, organizational effectiveness, and workforce practices are closely aligned with business priorities.

The role will play a key part in strengthening the employee experience across the organization, with particular focus on building a strong culture, developing clear career and growth opportunities, enhancing talent management practices, and ensuring competitive and sustainable compensation and benefits programs.

This is a high-impact leadership role within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring a strong understanding of people-intensive operations and the ability to translate business needs into effective HR strategies.

The position will report directly to senior executive leadership and oversee the teams responsible for the organization’s core Human Resources functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Human Resources strategy in alignment with the organization’s business objectives and growth priorities.

• Strengthen talent management practices, including career development, succession planning, performance management, compensation, benefits, employee engagement, and retention.

• Oversee the effective delivery of HR processes and employee-related services, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and a positive employee experience.

• Use HR analytics, workforce data, and key performance indicators to identify trends, anticipate organizational needs, and support business decisions.

• Assess and communicate the business and financial implications of workforce-related decisions, including turnover, retention, organizational structure, and labor costs.

• Lead and develop the HR leadership team, promoting accountability, collaboration, and high standards of execution.

• Ensure compliance with Dominican labor legislation and provide sound guidance on employee and labor relations matters.

• Partner closely with senior leadership, providing strategic counsel on talent, organizational challenges, and workforce priorities.

• Lead initiatives related to organizational development, career progression, workforce optimization, outsourcing, and the overall employee experience.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

• Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources director-level or comparable senior leadership positions.

• Previous experience within BPO, services, people-intensive operations, or large-workforce environments is highly valued.

• Experience in multinational organizations or international corporate environments is strongly preferred.

• Broad knowledge and demonstrated experience across the main Human Resources functions and disciplines.

• Strong ability to leverage workforce data and HR metrics to support strategic business and talent decisions.

• Strong knowledge of Dominican labor legislation and the local labor market.

• Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to effectively communicate and present information in corporate and executive environments.
