SCIENCE TEACHER (BIOLOGY-CHEMISTRY)(Middle/High School) El Colegio Internacional SEK Las Américas forma parte de la Institución Internacional SEK, una red educativa privada con más de 133 años de experiencia en formación integral de estudiantes a nivel mundial, con presencia en Europa, Estados Unidos, América Latina y Sudáfrica. Puesto vacante: Science Teacher Nivel: Secundaria (Middle y/o High School) Modalidad: Presencial Ubicación: Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional Perfil del docente que buscamos: Buscamos un/a docente de Ciencias (BIOLOGÍA/ QUÍMICA) dinámico/a y comprometido/a, con vocación educativa y capacidad para inspirar el pensamiento científico. La persona seleccionada deberá demostrar dominio del idioma inglés (nivel bilingüe o nativo), así como habilidades para la planificación, evaluación y gestión del aula. Responsabilidades principales: Planificar clases y actividades didácticas alineadas al currículo. Evaluar el progreso académico del estudiantado (tareas, exámenes, proyectos, etc.). Promover el pensamiento crítico, la curiosidad científica y la indagación. Fomentar un ambiente de respeto, motivación y aprendizaje activo. Mantener una comunicación fluida con familias y comunidad educativa. Requisitos indispensables: Nivel de inglés: nativo o bilingüe (fluido oral y escrito) Formación académica mínima: Licenciatura, Postgrado o Maestría en Educación, Ciencias o áreas afines Experiencia docente mínima de 1 año en niveles educativos similares Residir en el Distrito Nacional Formación y experiencia en el área de docencia o educación Importante: Solo se considerarán los perfiles que cumplan con todos los requisitos establecidos. Base salary. Quality bonus, paid 5 times a year over 10 months. Attendance and punctuality bonus per month, paid over 10 months. Other benefits: Compensation package includes a 13th salary paid in December, paid vacations, and all legally mandated bonuses.
