Position Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic HR & Payroll Assistant to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role is integral to our team as you will be providing a service to the business whilst supporting the wider HR function by working closely with our HR Business Partners. Main duties of this role: Issuing new starter contracts and ensuring the onboarding experience is positive for our new staff members. Taking full ownership for our new starter payroll tracker. Ensure all employee information is loaded onto our HR System (Workday) accurately and in a timely manner, this includes visa and probation expiry dates, notice periods and any other information as instructed by the team. Own all HR System updates including leavers, transfers, salary changes and other changes as requested by the HR team. Understanding the Payroll process and be able to support the Pay and Benefits Manager with preparation and administration support. Assisting with our annual benefits window. Investigating and resolving payroll queries. Coordinating HR Projects and taking minutes as required. Education & Experience: Not less than 2 years working experience. Degree educated or qualified by experience within an HR & Payroll Assistant role. Experience working across HR Systems (we use Workday so it would be an added bonus if you have used this!) Experience (or a desire to learn) with a payroll process.
